What is the best black paint for engine brackets?
I want to repaint the various brackets, fan blades, etc. in the engine compartment once I remove my 67's engine. Is there a preferred brand of gloss black for the correct look as well as durability?
I don't think I'll be repainting any engine compartment fiberglass, but you never know. So, what is the preferred paint brand and gloss level for the 'glass?

The brand and number rang a bell, and it turns out I have a can in the garage from when i refinished my rocker panels a few months ago.
Thanks, Louie

Powder coating is the way to go, it gives a great finish in a various gloss finishes, from matt to full gloss, it's very durable, tougher than most paint, long lasting & so simple, just drop it off & pick it up a week later.
I've been getting loads of stuff power coated for 30yrs, including motorcycle frames, car rims & even my entire motorcycle trailer.
