radiator leak fixed
I'm getting ready to head south for a week and I'm planning on driving my C2. So today I started fixing a couple critical items.
1) Left front caliper leak....almost done
2) Leak in radiator
I fixed the leak. If you remember last week I tried Bar's leak and it seamed to work. For some reason I was a little leary of a 660 mile drive so I pulled the radiator today to get it leak tested and fixed.
I now own a brand new "Be Cool" radiator. Mine was shot. The epoxy joints were failing and the radiator shop said it couldn't be fixed.
Thanks to those that put negative thoughts in my head about "quick fixes". I could have diven around town and most likely never had a problem. Long cruises bring out the weak spots in our cars.
