I need to replace, what I believe to be the original cable on my 62 vette. The overall length of the original cable is 63" flange to flange. The 63" length works well using the original clips molded into the body glass. It has a gray vinyl covering. Aftermarket suppliers show a 68" cable for this application. I tried one of these and had excessive cable looped into the engine compartment. This is a four speed car. Any suggestions as to where I can get the correct cable?
