Does anyone know what the difference between the midyear corvette tubs are, I know the fender sides and hoods are different and the 67 has a back up light but if you had all fenders off stripped down to the birdcage firewall and tub what is the difference?
I was thinking some had a different diff cover on the floor, but are any of them the same?

Early 63's had "tool trays" storage under the seats which altered the floor pan.

the color of the glass will be different. for a 63 or 64 if the bird cage is still there there will be no holes for the vin tag. as is the 65-67 they were pop riveted in place.

There are minor differences in attachments, number of rivets, etc., number of hangers on the side, number and positions of some body attachments, panel differences where the side fenders attach for the different style vents, color. Lots of little things, but they could be used more or less interchangeably.

67 is very different from 63-66 between the seats where the parking brake mechanism mounts.

I forgot about the parking brake indetion on the drive tunnel.
So 67 has parking brake and black glass
63-66 has gray glass.

Z bar holes on 65-67 tags, and misc. option holes.

Are therer any firewall differences to speak of.
