Default Reproduction Vin Tag for a 56

Does any know where I can get a reproduction of a original vin tag for a 56? The tag has been misplaced during the restoration and I may need a new one. Car is registerd to me and I have the pink slip.

http://www.datatags.com/

Besides proof of ownership you will need a photo of the VIN stamped on the frame.

I thought these guys only did trim/data tags and plates.

To the OP... check with your state's DMV- many gey very crabby about replacement VIN tags. (not trim tags)

ONLY if you TELL them it's a replacement tag. I wonder just how many people working in state DMV offices REALLY know what an original 56 VIN tag looks like??????????????????????

Here is mine. Is it original, or a replacement?

Thanks for all your help Donald and everyone else. I've talked to the guy and it seems that I have everything for him to help me.

DZAUTO: The condition suggests that it is an original but it is not connected by the phillips screws. I'm not sure???? Real???

CLUE:
Phillips screws are "correct", but rivets are considerably more secure. No one can walk (or sneak) up to it and remove the tag in 20sec.

"Gone in 20 seconds", could be a movie.
