What is the difference between headlight extensions for a E63 vs other mid years? I assume it has something to do with the fiberglass buckets?

Also the headlight wiring harness....63 vs 64-67. I am having to switch to later metal buckets on my 63 restoration and want to make sure I have the right harness/extensions.

There are minor differences to the early '63 fiberglass headlight and the late '63 fiberglass headlight bucket - primarily with how the front bezel attaches. Don't really see how that would affect the harness extension. The '63 metal headlamp mounting receptacle, (which is similar to a 58-62 headlight bucket) where the wire harness grommet attaches is identical for both early and late '63 headlight buckets.

My theory here is that they are referring to the un-confirmed rumor that some late '63's left the factory with the metal buckets and thus would have had the harness for the metal bucket installed. Most of the experts believe this is simply not the case.
