Can you tell the difference between the reproduction jacks and the originals?

Default Functional replacement.

For those of us not so proud to use them; functional replacement jack, lug wrench and spare tire lock can be pirated from a Corvair.

No, but it will work & all fit in the jack well.

Drill a water drain hole in the spare tire lock and it would be identical.

Yes, my reproduction jack (bought by previous owner NOT me) has a sticker on it that says its for show purposes only and not to be used to jack up the car. I'm not kidding! I have no idea where he got it.

ALL the reproduction jacks have that sticker - it keeps the seller's lawyers happy (ever see all the stickers on ladders these days?). There's zero difference in the load capacity of the originals vs. the reproductions, but the original design isn't considered "safe" by some in today's litigious environment.
