I am thinking of going the header route for the new 427 I'm having built for my 66. I have a muffler shop that has done a lot of fabricating on my other collector cars. I want to keep my side exhaust but am not sure how far back most headers are going to fit. Can I still get a bend off of the headers to meet with the sidepipes?

I bought a set of hedman headers for my big block vette and they lined up perfectly to the side pipes. I bought them out of jegs.

Unfortunately they only come in black. No ceramic coated.

Stahl Headers in York, PA builds headers to fit right up to the side exhaust. And they are sweet looking! Jere Stahl still come in everyday to check on things and is very active. Not cheapies but #1 quality!

google a company called mcjack"s they have em' although i would highly recommend the stock cast iron units...less heat
