Commonly Available Whitewall Radial that Looks Right?
What the subject title says. Tire shops around here aren't super friendly so I'm hesitant to ask to go back and peruse their whitewall selection. Who makes one that looks good? Lots of the whitewalls I see are really close to the rim (Dunlop SP60 for example). Maybe it's just the pics. I really like the ones where the whitewall is closer to the middle of the tire. And I looked at Diamondback Classic Tire and Coker Tire websites but wasn't jazzed about spending $200+ per tire.
Car is '66 Nassau Blue, 15" steel wheels with factory hubcaps. I know whitewalls may not be correct, but I like 'em. Just want them to LOOK the part.

I don’t have Goodyear Integrity, but I’ve seen them. I personally don’t like the busy ribbed sidewall design. It just doesn’t look 60’s, even if it's whitewall. Afar okay, but up close, too busy for me. Maybe the performance makes them worth while, I don’t know.

Goodyear Regatta II tires have the narrow whitewall but they are discontinued. You might find a set if you look around . Also Uniroyal (Tigerpaw) makes a narrow whitewall in the correct size .

Ended up getting Cooper Tire Lifeliner GLS'. Whitewall is just shy of 3/4". Ran about $88 ea. Had the wheels powdercoated just this past week. I'm afraid to put the wheel covers on them now!!! I'll post a pic with the wheelcovers on later.
