Default Won at Super Chevy today!!

I decided to take the car to Super Chevy in VA today. There were some fabulous cars there, super nice Camaro’s, Chevelle's, Nova's and Corvette's.

I won best in class for the C2's and was blown away when I was called as Best in show for the Corvettes!! It was truly an honor to take first over such a great bunch of cars. Here are some pics of my car and some of the competition. Turned out to be a great day…hot, but a great day.

Jeff

very cool. I was thinking about coming but I had the NFL draft I had to watch. Was Rich Lagasse there? I think he said he was driving down for this show.

Congrats. on your win. I won the same in the early 90's. There were approx. 30 C-1's and over 150 Corvette's at the event. They even did a photo shoot of my car for the mag.

That is quite an honor. Knowing what went into the car, it is well deserved.

Jeff, No doubt that car was the class act of the field! Not to many cars have the ability to stand tall over all takers but your car sure does. I think my dad road up there today but I haven't talked to him yet today.

Tim, Tim, Tim,... .You live in Richmond and didn't go what the heck man?? Get that monster of yours out there on the road!!

Dave--I did intend on going but got side tracked with the draft and totally got the weekends confused. I also have to replace the turning signal lever before i can drive it any distance and technically I havent driven it out of the garage except for about 2-3 times in the past 24 months and dont even have a recent inspection...I really need to get more time to enjoy the car and relieve some stress.

I need to meet you and Jeff face to face one day soon.

Jeff: You realize that blue grand sport convertible with the red frame is Greg's old car.

Stunning Jeff, absolutely stunning. I can see why you took best of show for sure. Have to get Gordon to convince you to bring it North and to some of our Shows up here in PA. Would love you have that car widely seen.
Will you be bringing it to Carlisle in August this year? Would love to see it up close and meet the proud and deserving owner.
Best regards,
David
