New Seals & Gaskets T10
Hey Guys,
How involved is putting new seals and gaskets in a t-10? Is it as simple as unbolt everything install new gaskets then bolt it back up? Does it require any special tools? My trans is leaking pretty good and I wanted to put new gaskets in when it is out of the car, it was supposedly rebuilt a few years before the car was taken off the road.

Not too bad to do, better off buying a complete rebuild kit. Check with 5 speeds.com Paul has good kits and a video/book that will walk you through the job. Similar to Muncies.

It was supposedly rebuilt shortly before it was parked. I'm planning on putting a t-5 in it this winter so I don't want to stick too much money into the trans.
