I have a 66 coupe with a 327-300hp engine. The build date on the car is Dec. 1965, I see some 66 cars with valve cover decals that say 327 TURBO FIRE and they have a air cleaner decal that says 327 300 HORSEPOWER. Then I see other 66 cars with a valve cover decal that says 327 TURBO FIRE 300 HORSEPOWER and no air cleaner decal. Does anyone know the correct decals for my car? Thanks for any info....

'66 small-blocks didn't use any stickers on the air cleaner lid; only on the valve covers. Yours should have the single sticker that has both the engine and the horsepower on it, as shown in the Assembly Manual (UPC 6, sheet C2).

I have a 1966 327-300hp small block. It was built Dec. 6, 1965.
I have 2 decals on each valve cover. The one in the indentation on top of the valve cover reads Chevrolet
327
Turbo-Fire

A separate decal below that on the side of the cover reads

300
horsepower

I have read where early 1966's had the 2 decals and later in the model year they went to a singe decal on top of the cover.
