After you get the switch installed I have found its a good idea to jack both front wheels off the ground and thoroughly check out the brakes/tail lights, signaling functions and signal canceling action backed up against a reflective surface to see the rear and turning the steering wheel in both directions while signaling. Otherwise, you find out things are not quite right on the road....
