GTR1999 does an awesome job. You won't go wrong sending it to him.

Corvette Steering in South Carolina has the complete rebuild kit for $245, that includes the sector gears and worm gear along with new bushings. Pretty good vendor to deal with. He also sells the Jeep box kit for $645?

That's the price for a C-2. It does not list a kit for the C-1. A C-1 complete kit has shaft with worm gear, sector gear, sector roller, and all bearings within the box. The C-1 kit is not as simple as the C-2

The kit for the C2 that CS sells does include all that. I'm sorry though I did miss that this was for a 60 as the OP put in his post. Sorry.

However it looks like he has kits for 58 and up cars and trucks. Does the Straight axle cars conform to this? I'm not sure but here is the link that shows the other kit.

Check with Bair's in Linesville, PA. Great family owned business. They rebuilt my box for my '64. Can't remember how much I paid though. Give them a buzz..

Not the correct link, and I don't suggest clicking that one.

Try www.zip-corvette.com if you want to browse our site, though we only sell the bearing kit.
