Default Casting date location on a 942 block

I am looking for the casting date on a 66 427 942 block. I checked between the freeze plugs, back of engine where trans mates, on top of timing cover and nothing in any place. Does anyone know where else it may be. Thanks in advance

Should be just below the middle freeze plug on the pass side, between the freeze plug hole and the oil pan rail, casting date reads upside down. Someone might have carefully ground it off with a dremel, in which case you'll need to look closely to see evidence of it ever being there.

I dont see any signs of any marks. The pad is blank, there is NO casting dates. I looked next to the freeze plugs, next to the starter, on the flange by the trans, my best guess is it was a replacement block with no cast. I am selling the car as a NOM but all the people want a DATE. Im going down and putting it on with a magic marker to keep them happy.

it should be just behind the passenger side engine mount and before the starter.
