Default Gauge Repair/restoration for 61

Who would you recomend for gauge repair/restoration for a 1961 corvette? I will be taking for various neighborhood shows, but it will not NCRS shown, I am looking for good work at a decent price. Thanks

I just used William Harrison Speedometer in Jupiter, Florida. He did a very nice job and the price wasn't that bad.

Roger Scott of Corvette Instruments in FL, did my '55 gauges, tach and speedo. SUPER job at fair price and quick turn around...

I know my tach is not working and the fuel gauge is not reading correct (when it shows a little less than 1/4 full I run out of fuel - figured that one out the hard way - is that the gauge or the sending unit). Anyway I am repainting and putting in a new dash pad and figured I will refurbish the cluster at the same time. It is a nice driver but since I have already put much more in that I thought I would I would like to get a good job but also keep the costs down (but don't want to be sorry about the results either)

If you are putting in a new dash pad its a perfect time to refurbish the cluster and gauges...just be advised your tach may not work for several reasons such as a bad cable or messed up gearing on the rear of the generator drive ***'y....

Here is a way to test your fuel gauge/sending unit if you get ambitious:

Not sure why you would want to involve a third party. I'm about 99% sure that Eckler's just sends this stuff out like most of their restoration services (maybe to one of the companys already mentioned in this thread!) and puts some sort of surcharge on top for being the middleman. Also, if you have problems its much easier to deal with the 'source' than a third party.
