Pro Team 67 rally red coupe
Hi members if you folks get time take a look at he 67 Rally Red coupe 327-350 h.p factory air #1065A on Pro Teams site. Look at he vin pad it's doubled stamped and the suffix numbers don't lool right, just wondering if G.M. would have stamped it like that, also the suffix numbers look suspicious they look offset, tell me what you folks think, thanks Ditch.

I can't speak to the stamp pad, although it does look funny, but the master cyl. is not correct, and the carb is not correct from my view point. Dennis

It is so ugly it might be real. I have see real ones that ugly, but they are the exception and there in lies the problem. Terry is pretty careful about saying "appears to be the real deal." I don't think it would be very smart to buy it on the opinion of people on this forum. Al Grenning is considered the most knowledgeable on this topic. If it is important, pay him to tell you. Then there is the issue of will it pass NCRS or Bloomington judging if that is important. It will drive the judges nuts! But a Grenning written statement might help if it is real in his opinion.
Just my 2 cents. Gary

That whole engine looks bogus, that's why they are asking $46K instead of $66K. The VIN pad doesn't even look close to real... looks "grinder modified". The "HP" should read "HT" but the car looks like a nice driver.

I don't see proper broach marks on that pad. The general did at times grind pads and restamp, however a double stamp? Got me on that one!
Pro teams does use the terminology "appears" in their description.
