You might try Charlie Santorelli in New Jersey, from "Seatbelt Sity". He is known for his seat-belts obviously, but when I spoke to him at some length earlier this month, I found out that he also does a lot of vent window restorations and other items. If his vent window restorations are anything like the positive comments I have read about his seat-belts and buckles, it's worth checking out.

No website.

Good luck

Virginia Vettes polishes the vent frames, weld back on the pivot pins (Convertible) /tab(coupe) and replaces the riveted pivot "T"

I used Charlie Santorelli last year. I am very satisfied. The vents look new.

Its not that hard to do yourself, really.

The big thing to watch out for is if you get everything re chromed is to make sure the pivot pin on the window frame fits back into the vent frame and if you have a new pivot installed, making sure that its in the right spot.

The trick is in the welding. The original was spot welded on with no glob of weld. You need to be a skilled welder to do it. The last one we restored had a nail welded to the frame with the point still on!!!!
Nice!!!!!!!!!!
