Solved my restomod dilemma.
I guess I won't be returning the '57 to the original frame after all.
Just as I was about to buy an original frame for the '57, this little '56 was dropped into my lap by a good friend.
It's been in storage for years and some assembly is required, but I should be back in a proper solid axle in no time....
I'd like to thank three good friends, all of whom went above and beyond the bonds of friendship to help make this happen.

I'm really glad you found a way to build another car without having to tear down your '57. Looks like things worked out for the best, congratulations..
