Default TPI in C1 anyone running this?

If you have a TPI set up in your C1 did it fit under the hood ? I have seen it but want to make sure before I start the build.

Several on this forum. I know of a 60 here locally, and there will be one (90 L-98) in my 62 in a month or so.
No hood clearance problems at all that I've heard of.

So are you adding the TPI to an existing engine? or swapping in the complete TPI engine? what ECM do you plan to use, what year TPI?

I have a TPI from a 90/91 car with everything harness, ECM fuel pump filter injectors etc, that I may put on my 1962 327 block - all I need to do is buy heads and a cam --- HOWEVER I may sell that set up for a few hundred $$ and just add that to a new mini ram TPIS system on the same 327. I have the BW `T10 4 speed by may go to a 700R4

Default Tip

I have a TPI on my 327 in 1964 coupe. It was on the car when I purchased with a 67 BB hood no problems. Jackie

Yes you can get a 700R4 in the trans tunnel with a little modification to the right side. Just a little fiberglass area there the 1-2 piston is on trans. You might not have to if you don't want, but it will almost touch in this area if you don't. I have a 700R4 with 355 TPI ,90 Corvette ECM running in 61 vette.
