Default 1962 Chevrolet 4 Star Bowtie

My car made it. It was judged at the NCRS National convention in Overland Park, KS. last week. It was judged on originality only not condition and had to be a minimum 80% Chassis, 80% Mechanical, 85% Interior, and 85% Exterior. It went 86+% chassis, 88+% mechanical, 94+% interior, and 92+% exterior. I have owned it almost 4 years and other than getting it road worthy (run & stop), not much has been touched. It was a thrill to go through the process. It is car #00029 and I am the second registered owner.

That is great. One of the hardest awards to achieve.

Congratulations That is quite an achievement. It's so nice to see these solid axles remain in their original, un-restored condition.

Congratulations, that is quite a prestigious award especially as these cars become harder to find.

Congratulations. A great achievement. Now go get that 5th star!
note to non-NCRS folks: 12 62s have gotten the Bowtie Award.

Another $30k and you can move up a couple of notches on the ladder.

It is staying just like it is as long as I own it. I hope some collector will get it down the road. It is only original once!

Those clean, relatively chromeless '62s are my favorite C1s, '57s are runners-up.
