Default Thinking about BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted to knock off rims

Hello

I was thinking about replacing the white wall tires I have in favor for the BF Goodrich radial T/A tires...I was wondering what tire size is good with aftermarket knock off rims

Thanks
Pete

I've used 215-65x15's on two midyears with the 6-inch KO's and two other midyears with 67 Rally Rims, also 6-inches wide and while they are a bit shorter than the equivalent stock size was, they fit very well, no rubbing and a nice contact patch size.

I'll give you a little more advice you didn't ask for. Forget the raised white letter tires on a mid-year.

Ha Ha ! I am currently running 15x6 knock-offs mounted on P215/65R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's (blackwalls out !) on my '66 and I am really trying to wear them out so that I can replace them with a set of DiamondBack goldlines (which DB will now "goldline" a Radial T/A).

If buying a set of new tires for you C2 coupe with knock offs what kind of tires would my fellow forum members go for?
White walls 20/75/15 as original? That is what i have on my car today.

Continue using white walls 205/75/15? Open for suggestions

Default 235x60-15

I run BF Goodrich radial T/A's at 235x60-15 on my 65 coupe. No issues.

I like the TA radials. I have three sets mounted up and on cars. Two of them are on Novas/rally wheels and one on a modified Corvair with aluminum rims.

I just think the white letters against the Corvette hubcap compete for visibility too much with each other. I had blackwall tires on my '65 coupe with hubcaps for 30 years. Never did like it so I changed to KO's and gold lines. Made it an entirely different car, visually.

Can somebody post a close up picture of a C2 with white lettering?

A little more close up than the picture Donny Brass posted.

I think its kind of okay with the letters

The problem with white letters are that it looks like a whitewall when moving or spinning. And my wheel below is the Dayton wire knock-offs 15X6 wheels with 215-65R-15`s Goodyear GT tires. .......
