Rubber seal hood C2?Just at the back on the hood?
On my 64 there is just a seal at the back of the hood(closest to the windshield). Is that the way it is supposed to be?
From fender to fender just in the back on the hood?
Or is the weatherstripping supposed to follow the fenders towards the front?
Can any here post a picture so i can see how it is supposed to be?

On my car it is just at the back edge of the hood. No corners at all on my car.
Did the wetherstripping start to follow/corner the fenders on the 66?
I have ordered some of the weatherstripping new including this seal but i need to use my old until i recive the new one.

Heres one from Long Island CS. It's on a 63. Not sure if correct. But it's there. It can be trimmed to fit for earlier apps.

'63-'64 strip goes across the rear of the hood only.
'65-'66 wraps the corners going forward and terminates at the male hood pins.
'67 is like the previous two years except it uses push pins to stake the ends of the rubber to the hood.
The replacement piece you buy is way too long for a C-2. It's cut for a C-3 I believe.

Not sure about all the 66's. Mine only goes to the curve at the outside/underside of the hood. It does not wrap around. But, as always, someone else may have replaced it even though I don't think so.

I was told by some one who supposedly worked for Chevy back in the day, that a 65 dose not rap around the corners of the hood , it stops just before the turn, that's only what i was told . I hop this helps

(The rubber weather strip at the rear of the hood is cut off approximatley even with the hood latch pins. It is affixed with a brush applied amber/yellow adhesive that may extend beyond the edges of the weather strip).

According to the latest 63/64 NCRS judging guide and I quote,
(The rubber weather strip at the rear of the hood is cut off approximatley even with the hood latch pins. It is affixed with a brush applied amber/yellow adhesive that may extend beyond the edges of the weather strip).

If it doesn't say that, it's just one more of more than 100 errors in that guide. By the way, the original glue wasn't YELLOW. It was clear that aged to yellow.

Also my 64 was original before a body off restoration, and that is the way the weather strip was.
