Default What FONT was used on the Midyears

Specifically the words "corvette" "stingray" "split window" I am having some stainless cut with these words. And was stingray one word or two words in 1963?
Thanks George

Two Words!!!! STING RAY

Sting Ray was block lettering. The "Corvette" lettering was sort of a script. You should be able to take a photo of the 63 lettering and take it to whom-ever is doing the stainless work for you and they should be able to copy it. On the "Split Window", that will have to be your choice. That was never on the car. It was simply what everyone called it because of the rear glass area.

If you own a '69 or later, you've got a Stingray . . . . . 1963-1967 were all Sting Rays . . . .

1963-1965 had the slanted script, 1966 & 1967 had vertical script . . . . .

I've never been able to find the exact font type in any of the TrueType or other fonts available, if anybody ever finds out what it is, I'd sure appreciate knowing as well.
