Default Which white wall size correct for '56?

670-15 FIRESTONE 3 1/4" Whitewall Tire
670-15 FIRESTONE 2 11/16" Whitewall Tire

Looking at Coker's website I think I have narrowed it down to the 2 tires above.

Which would be correct for a 1956 Corvette built in late August in St. Louis?

Thanks!

Alex

I had the Firestone 3 1/4 on my '56 and I really liked the look. I have a '57 now and it has the 2 1/4 which looks good, but I prefer the wider wall. On thing about the Firestone tire is that the word Firestone is in the white wall which looks cool. My '56 was a Top Flight, Bloomington Gold car and the width was never questioned. It was an August '56 car also.

Great, thanks!

I'm more inclined to go with the larger white wall as well out of personal taste.
