Default Canopy cover for a coupe

Guys,
I called Ferguson Car Covers after reading a post a couple of weeks ago. He had just created a Canopy cover for a coupe because of their leak problems. He was great to work with. It is a very well made product. I would highly recommend Ferguson to anyone on the Forum. The cover is very well made and is white to reduce the cockpit temp by as much as 20*. Here are a couple of pics.

Are there clips in the back and on the side? What keeps it on during windy weather?

There are two elastic straps on the back that stretch to the rear bumpers. In the front there is Velcro that attach around the wiper posts. of course the wipers also help. On the drivers side Velcro attach around the outside mirror.

An old bed sheet would work just as well and cost less. Just another
"gimmick" to sell people

You have water proof sheets that you sleep on?
Is this a medical necessity?

Don't really see the need for one. If the weatherstripping and the birdcage is good, you shouldn't have any leaks. They didn't leak when new. I've had a few coupes and none have ever leaked a drop. The verts. I've owned were the same, except when moving.

I think the idea is good. I know others that is using exactly the same cover on their Porsche targas
ou can also have velcro that attaches to the doorhandles. You can also have velcro attach to the wheels

I think that the cover also will help the temp and cracked dashboards where it is real warm

So if you have a leaky coupe buy it. My car dont need one because there is no leak.

Hi Larry:
Do you have a phone number for Ferguson Design? I can't find them on the internet.
Thanks, Roy

The owner of the company is now Ed Augustine:
352-394-6547.

They are about 8 miles down the street from me here in Florida.

Looks good I have their product for my roadster and love it. I'm surprised they didn’t add the little velcro loops that attach to the door handles (that and the wipers are all I ever use to hold mine down).

I also thought that velcro around the door handles would have been a natural. However, the way it is attached is just fine.
