I still recommend a good color wiring diagram.

Many people like this one because it has photos of each connector

And a sample of 1 of the 2 digrams

I second the Doc Rebuild color wiring diagrams.....I've used them a LOT....often for troubleshooting other vette owners' problems....

Larry,

I would also purchase the 1965 NCRS Judging Manual. For details go to www.ncrs.org.

I like "Vette vues fact book of the 1963-1967 Sting Ray". Very informative, lots of original pictures. Section for each year with part numbers, coatings, colors, bolts, etc.

It's a must have item as it has info. that is not available elsewhere. The AIM and the Shop manual both have very good wiring diagrams. No need buy any other.

Noland's books are $65 and Judging Guides are $30 from the NCRS bookstore, if you're a member. Plus their shipping costs are $6 max. and you get them within a week.

You will need the "1965 Interim Shop Manual," specifically for 396 cars.

If you can find a copy of the GM Corvette parts book (P&A-30B) from any of the years immediately after your car was built, it will be a valuable resource. Something around the early 70's will give you the info on your car as well as parts swaps possible with C-3's.
