Can any one tell me if the front signal light s are suppose to be on when the front lights are on.
I noticed last night that the front lights were on but the signal lights were off.
When I checked the turn left and right signals and they worked.

Not sure what going on....

It's normal.

You can get them to stay on while the lights are on if you move one of the wires in the headlight switch connector.

They are parking lights, for use when parked at the side of the road - as required by some state laws many years ago. They are supposed to only come on at the first pull out detent of the light switch, but the wiring in the light switch connector can be changed to make them also act as running lights - on with the headlamps too at the second pull out detent.

It's probably worth doing the parking light mod for safety reasons. Other drivers can at least see where the other side of your car is if a headlight goes out on a nighttime drive.
