Default SBC - Which Head Bolts enter the Water Jacket?

Hello Folks,

On the small block chevy engine, which of the seventeen head bolts enter the water jacket (and thus need to be sealed)?

Thanks in advance.

all of them should have thread sealant unless you have a special block with blind holes.....

Every production SBC I've seen needs sealer on all 17 headbolt holes. Some aftermarket blocks have blind holes and don't require sealer.
