Default 66 327/300 carb gaskets

Guys according to assembly manual the 3367 carb has a paper gasket next to the manifold and a metal gasket on top of the paper gasket next to the carb.

I am not comfortable with the metal gasket next to the carb. Any issues with adding a second paper gasket between the card and the metal gasket?

The stock arrangement works just fine, unless your Holley baseplate is warped. What REALLY matters is to plug the holes at the ends of the "hot-slot" in the manifold pad so you don't warp/crack the baseplate.
