That coupe used to live in Maine, owned by one of the founding members of the New England Chapter of NCRS. Nice car. Had a replacement engine if I remember correctly. It was in the Bloomington special collection at least one year.

Neat talking piece but I'm not sure it really makes it that much more valuable..

Default 3 time at bat...

I attended the Bob McDorman Mecum auction on a very cold
November day in Columbus. The car has sat for a very long time
and 'Sold' at this no-reserve auction, but somehow appeared at
the Kansas Mecum auction again for sale just weeks later. It even
had the same text across the windshield that Bob McDorman put on
the car. At Kissimmee the car appeared again... this time without
the white letter text across the windshield.

So much for a no-reserve auction in November at Bob's....

Also, the first '65 was painted '64 Satin Silver and coded ZZ (Cadillac's code for the same color). That makes it a little different than the other '65 silver cars.

I stand corrected Dave, the "hipsters" with silver midyears are further west.
