Instrument Cluster Wiring Question
Got the cluster wired up today, but there are 2 capacitors that don't seem to have a wire for them
One is by the water temp gauge, and it has a very strange end on it.
The other is by the ammeter
The large brown wire went to the capacitor at the lower left in this picture beside the oil pressure gauge.
What goes to the other 2 capacitors?
Thanks

Pretty sure that they connect to the ammeter and temp gauges themselves.
Going to back off of that statement a bit unless someone else can verify. (My cluster pics of when I took it out don't confirm it, the caps were already unhooked.) My 69 has capacitors at those gauges though, IIRC.

The one with the pin-crimp connector on it goes on the tan wire that goes to the "Brake" warning light, and the copper flag on the one adjacent to the battery gauge goes in the outboard cavity of the battery gauge connector.

In routing the wire harness in the dash, is it critical where the harness goes when it heads to the passenger side, or is it basically OK if it is able to make all the connections.
I tried to follow the AIM, but it's tough to see the path the harness takes.
Anybody have pictures of a non-a/c 65 vert dash with wire pathways showing?
Thanks
