Yes up to a 79 frame is BASICALLY the same. I modded a 79 to fit my 66. Took a lot of measuring and comparing of frame specs!!! Many hours of fab time. Basically the later the frame the more stuff change..Like a 68 is identical. I have a long list of things, body mounts, bumper mounts, front and rear frame horns...that move. But I bought the 79 roller for $1200 and got lots of needed parts and sold the rest

This may help identify your donor frame and shows all changes over the years.
I have the same project in waiting, my 66 frame is shot and I have a donor frame waiting for the fix.
