Default 1967 VIN stamp location on the frame

Can anyone tell me the locations of the VIN stamp on the frame of a 1967 Vette?
Thanks!

Approximately right at the arrow.

There's another one on the same side on the frame kickup about even with the center of the wheel...you'll need a mirror and likely have to scrape or sand gunk/rust off first....

I assume it's on the top of the frame not the side? If so, what's the easiest way to see it?

Regarding the other spot mentioned, could you be mote specific?

Thanks - Ed

you won't be able to see the first one on drivers side by door as body must be off to see, rear one on drivers side is as stated at top of kickup and must be viewed with mirror ... draw line from center of wheel up to top of kickup or approx in middle of wheel wheel opening in back

The rear one is on top of the frame rail, centered on the front edge of the #4 body mount bracket; someone posted this excellent photo several years ago.

The rear stamping can be one of two locations: My early '65 has it where you see the pink eraser; my late late '65 (the one in the pic) has it where the orange screwdriver handle is sitting. The latter is where JohnZ has shown. So I imagine that this location change happened sometime in the '65 model year.

Aside: when did they start putting the model year ahead of the "S" on the frame stamps ? My early '65 has the "5", and I was wondering if this model year number started sometime in '63 or '64. I'm just curious.

Generally, '63-'64 and early '65 had the stamp above the rear shock upper mount, and it moved to above the forward edge of the #4 body mount bracket in mid-'65. In '63 and '64, the stamp had an "S" followed by the last six of the car's VIN; in mid-'65, a model year prefix digit was added (5S, 6S, 7S, etc.).
