Default Holley 4160

I'm using a holley 4160 list #3367 on my 65 L79. Is it correct to connect hose from large port located on the carb base on the driverside to the oil fill tube? Thanks

Yes, although you'll need to install a PCV valve in the line or you'll have a large vacuum leak. On the original Holley 2818 the hose connected to a 90 degree fitting with calibrated orifice to limit flow. Change your oil filler tube to a 66 or 67 style with the boss for the PCV valve.

If I install the inline pcv, I won't need to change to the oil fill tube to 66/67, right?

Right. Just depends on how you want it to look.

I'll eventually install the correct carb but now I just want to get her running. Thanks for the help. Bill

I am working on an improvement. But heres how it would look using the screw in PCV.Stays snug in the hose. Not too bad, works fine.
