Bobby Alloway will have a "Builder of the Year Exhibit" at Meguiar's Autorama, Detroit on February 25-27. I'm sure his black "over the top" 62 Corvette will be there....or I certainly will be disappointed.

Does anyone have a picture of the 63. I've seen the 62.

Default Here you go...

Reworked Rochester FI (now electronic) on the 468 ci motor. Owner was there - lives in Souix Falls, SD and plans on driving it to the Black Hills Run this year. BTW, Bobby was happy to answer any and all questions about the build - nice guy.

That is a beautiful car. I'm considering painting my 67 black and it will have a red interior. Does anyone have more pictures of this car.

Bobby Alloway is a nationally recognized builder of super slick hot rods and street rods....he is known for his black builds with giant wheels and raked down front stance. His shop is here in Knoxville....a Corvette Club buddy and I visited him a few weeks ago at his shop and he gave us the tour of his facilities, storage buildings, etc. Nice easy going good old boy that loves cars. Used to work at a Ford dealer and got fed up with it and opened his own place....now is pretty famous around the country in hot rod and street rod circles. Here are a few pics I took that day.

I'm embarrassed to say....but I completely forgot about Alloway's 63 and I follow his creations pretty closely.

NICE pictures, everyone!

I notice a later-model C2 on the other side of the '62, looks like a relatively-stock soft top. This guy really has a thing for black cars with red interiors, red brake calipers and redline tires!

I particularly like the A/C vent and control ***** he fabbed for the '63 center dash area. Similar to stock at first glance, yet updated, just like his instruments.
