I have a few 62's...Here's my 2 cents worth. Paul's Fawn '62 looks correct front and rear. Front looks a little high on a couple of the others, rear looks ok on all.... Beautiful 62's !!!!!

Alright! You guys have had me paranoid about my front end height since yesterday!! I rummaged through some pics and I'll let you guys be the judge of my '62's stance. I must say I'm totally humbled by the looks of the rest of these '62's they are BEAUTIFUL

I'm sorry to say the nose is high, you can see too much air between the top of the front tire and the wheel well opening. Probably has the wrong front coil springs in it.

I bought my replacement coils at Corvette Central about three years ago, IMHO they are just right.

I agree
The front looks a bit high.Beautify car!!..But I was going through some advertisements and was really surprised how many the front ends were a bit higher? Going through some factory pictures to verify, if I can find some..
I really think a lot has to do with personal preference....I would like to see my front one inch maybe 1 1/2 in. lower than back.
Boy we sure are seeing some nice car photos...
This I like.

Reference measurements
As a point of reference, I took these measurements of my 62 before/after replacing the 6.70x15 bias ply tires, with radials.
All measurements taken straight up from ground, through center of wheel, to fender opening. All measurements normalized to the 1/8th of an inch.
Bias Ply
Left Front Fender - 28 2/8"
Right Front Fender - 28 2/8"
Left Rear Fender - 26 7/8"
Right Rear Fender - 26 6/8"
Radial Tires
Left Front Fender - 28 1/8"
Right Front Fender - 27 7/8"
Left Rear Fender - 26 1/8"
Right Rear Fender - 25 5/8"

Boy, my car and I am humbled by the nice cars in this thread. I love my Roman Red but after seeing the Fawn cars, I can't understand why a past owner of mine changed it from Fawn. Great looking cars guys.

I got my front measurements today...29 1/2 inch rear is 27 3/4 inch
So think my front springs are incorrect...Where would I find the right springs for the front? Do you think these springs were for a different application?, I doubt this. Maybe they were installed wrong?
I would say the front is 2 in. high, from where they should be.

O.K. being the stubborn S.O.B. that I am, I archived some old advertisements for the '62 Vette. The photos display '62's also with space between the top of the front tire and the wheel well opening. So in "beating a dead horse" and for the sake of argument, I say that it's possible that us "nose up" guys might be correct. Any thoughts???
But I know my front end is too high...2 in. difference..is too much..
Think I have heavy Duty front springs? My rears are 4 leaf..
Where is best dealer to buy front springs?
thanks

Well I have to agree...Looks like front is a bit higher in photos, atleast 2 of them. One on Hill is hard to tell..

Mine was riding so high on the old incorrect coils, that it was actually on the bump stops! Needless to say it also rode and drove much better once I changed them out.

The first thing to determine is if, or whether your front is too high, or your rear is too low by 1962 oem specs.
The second thing to determine is if you like that way.
RPO 684 HD springs option were offered from the factory only from 1957-59, but could be bought over the parts counter for years after that ( http://www.libertyship.com/rpo/RPO1.htm ). Its my understanding these HD front & rear springs were stiffer but actually caused the car to sit about 1" lower in the front.
Other than spring changes, there are a couple acceptable ways to lower both front and rear slightly;
