Hi gypsie,
Can you please tell more about your Roadster #1,088.
What are the original colors and engine + transmission type?
Does it have any other options like power windows or brakes etc.? Soft top color? Or is it hard top only?
Body number?
By chance, is it an automatic?
Syd

Hi Mike,
Good luck with the restoration.
If it is an original 360hp Roadster, it should be particularly desirable.
Cheers,
JB

There are pics in a recent thread I started, trying to gauge the value of my driver (I've owned since 97') - considering a sale. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...-for-them.html
This is a breakdown provided to me by StingU2:

Nice to see a Roadster!
Not sure where I recorded your '63 #11,363 but I had it.
I was missing the transmission type and only had the hardtop noted.
Thanks!

I have your old Coupe #12,372 listed but with the note that it had an NOM 340 with power brakes and windows.
New add ons from the new owner??
I'll also note the 300hp and PS.

Syd, great! Yes, the trans that was in it was a service Muncie, but we (my father and I) were able to find a correct date T10. Also, the car only had a hardtop when we purchased it. The soft top was missing, but it had the provisions. One of the previous owners I've spoken with had removed it and sold it.
Thanks for putting this list together!

My 63 coupe is 121438, a very late car. I have been trying to track down its history. Does it show up in your records? It was in Virginia from new and as best I can tell, for most of its life. It was in Virginia Beach for several years and was there when I purchased it last year.

split window
Hi Dave,
I have no idea how many remain or are registered but I have kinda kept track for over 15 yrs.
Including some 63's that were recorded prior to me and some cars recorded by others, and also including some that were wrecked or stolen etc. over the yrs, I've listed over 3,100 cars in my '63 file.
Of the approximate 3,100 '63 total, 1770 are split windows.
I'd guess that a good number survive, at the very least double that figure and most probably quite a bit higher.
I would love to hear from '63 owners who would contribute to this file.

I had no info for your Coupe #21,438.
Could you please tell me more. What are it's original colors and drivetrain? Any power options? What is your car's Body number?
I'm sure your serial tag must have a 'DD' on it?
I do have #21,436 and #21,437 recorded. They are both Daytona Blue/Blue Convertibles.
Thanks!

I also had your car listed in my file.
Very nice looking Saddle leather interior! I didn't have that part recorded but have now added it to your car's entry.
That makes 141 cars listed to date with Leather.
I don't have your Body number as well.
My Saddle/Saddle Coupe also came with leather. It was the main reason the original owner ordered it in Saddle as he insisted on leather seats. I'm not sure if he knew that he could have saddle leather with other colors or not.
He was a doctor in upstate NY and ordered his '63 from his local dealership. After waiting several months with no sign of the SWC, he was told that demand was very high and he would not be getting his! He was so upset that he wrote a letter to then Gov. Romney complaining and within 1 month he had the car.
I'm still hoping that his son who I've spoken to will find that letter!
Thanks
Syd
