How many '63 roadsters & split window coupes left ?

It looks like I've uncovered a new one for your list, Syd.
I've brought #17340 out into the daylight after a 44-year siesta. It's a coupe, 327/300hp, no power options, silver-blue, dark blue. It's a complete numbers-matching, original car with a 3-spd (since there are less 3-speeds around these days, I'm starting the trend to call them "more valuable" LOL), and a 8879 body tag.
I'm the third owner. The previous owner purchased the car in early 1966.
Thanks for all the time you've spent compiling your list. I've enjoyed scrolling through this thead and have learned a lot.
Cheers, Thomas.

That's fantastic. First time in daylight since 1972! Wow
My 1963 list stands today at 4,240 cars and yours is just the 51st 3spd I've recorded. According to my numbers Silver Blue is pretty rare as well with just 380 accounted for.
I have Coupe #17,347 listed as being Silver Blue with body #8,882.
Would love to see some pictures of your car
Thanks Thomas!

I did not have info for your '63 #4,948. Is your trim tag MIA?
I'm guessing with it's drag race history that it is an NOM engine? What transmission type did/does it have? Hardtop?
Thanks Dom!

Drifting
Both tags are in place,no engine or trans...it did come with a hardtop-not sure if is original though.
Transmission crossmember is welded in,does that mean original manual trans?
Trim tag
D3
STYLE 63867 2365 BODY
TRIM 490D 936A PAINT

I'm not sure what the welded crossmember represents?
Thanks for the additional info. If you still have original gauges, what is it's tach redline?
Thanks again Dom

When I originally posted I failed to provide the information you are using to complete this registry. The fuel injected car number 102114 is original drive train 4-speed, it has been restored. The 340HP car is number 118507 all original/unrestored 3-speed.
I doubt either of these cars have been listed before

Neither of your Silver 63's were listed. Thanks!
Would you mind telling me the Body numbers for the two as well?
Thanks again

Is there anybody that knows or has kept track of how many split widow coupes are still registered today.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the interest in this subject has caused this thread to become a Sticky, I have added "roadsters" to the title in the interest of the data being collected... thanks!

I just posted a WTB thread for a 63 S/W.

It was not on my list. What engine hp and transmission does it have and any power options? Originally leather? By chance do you know it's body number?
Good luck with your '63 search!
Syd
