Just curious do you have this vin in your data base ,looked suspect
Yes I have it listed as shown. It's body number appears to line up well in sequence with it's serial number.

To address the the title,

How many individual midyears came apart, becoming two C2s?

How many C2s, mongrels and NCRS stars alike, were pieced together from a frame, a body and miscellaneous bits and pieces?

Very few, particularly most present-day owners, want to know!

I have '63 #15,796 listed as being a Red/Red FI 4spd Coupe.
Pretty certain it is an original Riverside Red car because I have it's body number recorded as well, meaning that I must have seen a picture of it's trim tag.

Hi lenapos,
Congrats on your '63 purchase!
I have your car recorded as being a White/Black 300 4spd Coupe and when I listed it I noted that it was a project car and now Red.
Is it currently back to it's original Ermine White?

Thanks!
Syd

Hey John,
I have recorded 590 1963's to date that lay claim to being Daytona Blue. I can't say for certain exactly how many Blue/Red 63's I have listed but would guess it's about 3-5 max so far. Very rare beast I think. Along the lines of Saddle Tan/Red or rare Daytona/Black and Primer or Special code cars even rarer.
I've seen pix of your '63 before and if you can please post a few here for all to enjoy!

Thanks John!

Hi Joe,
I had your '63 #6,762 listed but did not have it's body number recorded and also didn't know that it was all power.
I also have '63 #6,761 recorded as being a Silver Blue/Blue 340 Coupe.
Silver Blue remains the 2nd rarest '63 color in my research file and I like it more and more every time I see one. About 20+ years ago I ran into a SB Coupe in Vermont and talked briefly to the original owner. It had original paint faded to the bone and it looked awesome.

Thanks Joe!
Syd
