'63 Hood Vents
What do you guys use to clean the hood vents? Would it be safe safe to use the meguiars cleaner and polish on them? Thanks, Classic

I repainted mine. After painting the entire upper surface, I carefully used a dull knife to scrape the raised pattern clean. It was so long ago; I don't remember the brand of the paint. It has lasted, but the paint scratches off easily. So, I just use very diluted dish washing detergent and a rag.
