It appears to be a 283/195 with a Powerglide from a 65 full size Chevrolet.
T0824 decodes as "T" for a Tonawanda built engine. So it is not a Corvette engine, as all small block Corvette engines were produced at Flint, MI. "08" is August and "24" is the 24th of the month.
"GF" has been used 3 times for small blocks, 55 265 w/manual trans and AC, a 57 283 w/Turboglide trans and FI (!!) and 65 283 2bbl w/Powerglide.
It's not a 55 265, because the engine stampings were completely different in 55. I don't believe it's a 57 either, as the 57 would show the date as T824GF, not T0824GF. This only leaves a 65 283, built August 24th, 1964.
The block casting number and date, found on the flange where the bellhousing bolts up, would confirm the identity of the engine.

You don't have to "crawl under" to see the numbers. The casting number is on the top of the block, on the left (drivers) side, behind the head, on the flange area above where the bellhousing attaches. The casting date is at the same spot, on the right side of the block.
