'57 paint question

Default '57 paint question

is the venetian red color on the exterior of a '57 the same as what should be used in the interior?

Yes - it's the same paint; the top of the dash (between the vinyl-covered rail and the base of the windshield) should be flattened.

And in the old days when these cars were worth nothing we used CHEVY ENGINE ORANGE spray paint in a can for a quick touch up. Color is surprizing close if not dead nuts right on.
