Default Some pics from the Wildwood NJ NCRS Regional

Nice assortment of cars in a great facility. Among the cars on display were 2 63 Z06's (Sebring Silver big tank and a Tuxedo Black regular tank), a 69 L-88, many fuelies, a black 54 and too many 67's to count.

It doesn't show well in the picture, but the 58 was actually Charcoal Metallic with silver coves, a red interior and FI! It was a very pretty car.

Everyone there seemed to be talking about it.

Great pics!
I love it when I can go to a car show on a Monday morning and never leave my desk!

Interesting color on this mid year. '67 teal?? Triple teal??

I believe that's Lynndale blue. Beautiful color and a great looking paint job.

I don't think there are any production numbers available for 63 Saddle Tan, but I don't think it was real popular. They show up once in a while, but not a lot.

Here's another look at that Split.

Correct, Lynndale Blue with the Dark Teal interior. It's one of my favorite Corvette colors, and I think one of the prettiest ever offered.

Here's another look at the car. I didn't take the pictures because of the color though. I really took them to show what is involved in NCRS judging. There are 5 people around the car, 2 are judging the interior, 2 are judging the engine, and the fifth is either the owner or possibly an Observer Judge (a novice learning to judge). Sometime during the day, this car would have had 4 other judges look at it too, 2 exterior and 2 chassis, as would every other car in Flight Judging!

The Wildwood Convention Center is a great place for a car show. The roof is a translucent cloth(?) type material, that allows lots of natural light in. The light coming through the roof creates all kinds of fascinating reflections on the cars (the 67 BB hood below really gives you an idea what the effect is). Of course when it rains on that roof, it's like being inside of a drum.

In case anyone cares, my favorite is the yellow '66. I think midyears with the hardtop on look really neat.....
