white c1 shifter ball infomation possible 54/56

Default white c1 shifter ball infomation possible 54/56

when i bought my 61 it came with its original shifter in a box ,as well as a white shifter ball old a a little crazed , the threads do not fit on the stock shifter my question is thread size and diameter of shifter ball i may have a pre 61 ball. or for a automatic shifter , were they different size threads, I now currently run the hurst shifter with repro style shifter stick .would like to use that old patina shifter ball !

I have to ask - The ball isn't, by chance, really small and for a door opening ball instead is it?

no thought that right away its a shifter ball and the thread is same as a hurst shift stick think 3/8 size .even the door ***** on my car were changed to chrome wish it was the correct white ones and i had two of them !
