If my engine is a may build june build for the car, what should the date codes be for the exhaust manifold & intake?

Everything should be close to the engine assembly date within a few days

The intake manifold casting date must be prior to the engine assembly date on the front pad, and must be within six months of the car's final assembly date for full judging credit; 2-6 weeks prior to the engine assembly date is more "typical" of production.

With a small telescoping mirror, a flashlight, and someone who knows where to look, the date code can be seen

where does it show the year?
are the date codes ever on the front?
00-00-00 format?
is it common that from manifold to manifold the casting numbers look different?

They are in month/day format, example: F26, June 26th. The casting # on the manifold will determine the year. On my 1956 anyway.

My manifolds are only 1 day apart and the date castings look identical but I suppose it depends on the condition of the molds.
