Default Classic Corvette Ad: The Cat and the Corvette!

We were looking around at old 'Vette ads the other day, and we stumbled across this one... What's with the cat? Seriously?

Default I will !

Corvettes have always had a reputation as a "chic magnet", but that's not the kind of p*$$y most are looking for......

Watch what you say.... my cat, Walter Mitty, gives it two thumbs
up. Then again he has 4 thumbs on each front paw - along with 5 fingers.

Wally is seen here sleeping on the convertible top of my Sting Ray,
which is his favorite napping spot.

PS: this ad appeared in the New Yorker on May 19 1956, obviously intended to appeal to upscale cosmopolitan tastes

Sorry! I did, and I feel like a doofus.

That sentence had something in there alluding to the fact that it wasn't sheetmetal, but it got cut for length... Consider it fixed, but I'm not calling anything funky.

Thanks for keeping me honest guys!
