Default Got My '58 Back! 283 in.

Very happy with my #739 correct 283 in the '58 and removal of the 350. Its pretty correct with X58 heads, carb & crazy filter bowl, , 890 distributor, got the right shroud on there, etc. Yes I know the staggered script valve covers dont go on a 230 horse... sue me. I like it.
Also got the poor jambs redone and replaced that Hurst shifter with the right thing. Car is very, very stock now!

Looks great, Nicely detailed engine compartment!!! I had put my original 283 back in many years ago (had a 350 in the 70's) and am also very happy with it. Good choice Pilot Dan

That must a new record. Did you post these from your phone on the way home?

A thoughtful engine installer/painter guy would have taken the photos for me and had them waiting.
