Here is a link showing routing for point distributors - should be the same for '62 - although it doesn't show under manifolds.

It's also in the Assembly Manual and in the ST-12.

The ST-12 is the service and maintenance manual for C1 Corvettes 53-62....its the book that is in the center on the top row...

Lots of 'em on Ebay or from the Corvette vendors and they are pretty much essential if you own one of these early cars.

Yep, Frankie has it covered.

Joe, welcome to the proverbial fire hose, as in "drinking from a fire hose".

There's a ton of data floating around out there, the good news is we are here to help!

I know your car doesn't have the stock engine, so I don't know if this will apply. However it's important to know if you bought a pre-cut set of plug wires.

The original 327 had 2 small clips on either side of the oil pan to capture the 1,3 and 2,4 plug wires to keep them away from the exhaust pipes.

Here is the left one

And then the right one

And then the #1 through #4 wires are held close to the block near the spark plugs with little clips bolted to the block with 1/4"x20 thread bolts.

Here's #1,3

And #2,4
