I am amazed how fast you put the car together.
And the fact that you almost did everything yourself is great
Looks really good

Well I made it over to Cruisin the Coast! That is insane! I drove for 20 miles, almost to bay st. louis and there were cars and cars and cars, but no Grand Sports Pretty freakin awesome! I raced a Pro-charged GTO on the way over! Lots of fun!

I will be in Montgomery at MMP 1/4 mile drag strip this Friday the 14th if anyone wants to race :burn:

Wrong...this is a quote from an early post; You might have skipped it!

"I would work on the car so long some nights, drinking 5 hour energy until I would be completely dizzy and uncoordinated I had to make myself stop! I did all this while working a 40+hour job and playing 2-3 music gigs a week..I now know that caffeine is my ally!"

What a great build; I'm very impressed. A lot of the "oldsters" don't think the young guys have the "hotrodding talent" these days.

You certainly proved them wrong. I admire your creativity.

Update time! I decided not to sell the vette. I should punch myself in the face for even considering it. Instead of selling and building another I decided, "why not just upgrade what ya got!". So with that said......

-EPS custom grind cam is on the way
-Melling Stock replacement oil pump
-C5R timing chain
-TEA springs and Ti retainers
-FAST 92 intake manifold
-Sending the rear wheels and possibly the fronts back to CCW for wider inner barrels. 315s up front 335s in the rear. Have not been impressed with the Kumho XS. May go with BFG Rivals or the Toyo R888

Oil pump and timing chain are the only things that have come in so far.

Working on a few things that have bugged me. Mainly losing a wiper arm during a monsoon as a freight truck passed me. I wasn't crazy about the chrome wiper arms anyway. I bought new satin finish arms and then painted them satin black. I also drilled and tapped the under side of the wiper arm where it slips over the post. I added a set screw for extra security in case the grooves/teeth on the post or arm try to give out.

The car needed some type of front spoiler to give it a more finished look. So I mocked up some card board, cut the shape out of 1/8" plywood, fiberglassed it, filler, sanded, painted, brackets made, blah blah and here it is..

You can also see in the above pic and the one below that I upgraded the headlights to H4 units. I took out the stock H4 bulb that came with the light and put in Philips X-treme Power bulbs. One of the best mods ever. It is seriously like night and day. The lows are so good I almost never click the highs. Highly recommend the swap. Cheap to do too!

And one for the road...
